Hilliard's Chocolate Coating Systems are precision designed for easy, profitable production of from 200 to 1,500 pounds per day. Everything you need to coat chocolates of exceptional, consistent quality is included in a single unit. There's no need for separate melting or tempering units.
Hilliard's Chocolate System automatically and continuously melts, tempers, coats, and cools chocolate coating - quickly and efficiently, even with inexperienced operators. Simplicity of operations assures top quality control throughout the processing operation.
Easy Chocolate Coating System Includes:
Prebottomer - with separate heating controls for melting tank and coating belt - chilled transfer belt provides rapid setup of bottom coatings - detailer assures attractively formed chocolates - central control panel indicates precise functioning of the entire system at a single glance.
Coater - assures a continuous supply of properly tempered chocolate - dry air heating (no water jacket) allows temperature control to within I degree F - auxiliary heaters maintain chocolate temperature in the curtain maker and coating belt - variable speed shaker enables precise control of coating thickness - detailer removes "tails" as pieces transfer to cooling belt. A double curtain provides extra coating for larger pieces, and assures perfect coating of all pieces.
Cooling Tunnel - provides thorough cooling of all pieces - coated centers will be cooled within five minutes, ready for packing as they leave the tunnel - precise control of cooling temperature and humidity assures chocolates with the highest luster.
Options:
Drip Feed Funnel - The tempering capacity of the system can be increased up to 3 times with the addition of a drip feed funnel. This optional accessory allows pre-melted chocolate to be added slowly to the tempered chocolate in the kettle without affecting temper. The Drip Feed is complete with flow control and heater.
Variable Speed Blower - This unit is used to control coating thickness on the centers. It is especially well suited for large, flat top pieces on which there may be excess coating left by the shaker.
Feed Belt - Allows automatic loading from extruders or continuous hand feeding.
Variable Speed Belt Drives - Individual control of belts. Capable of speeds to 8 feet per minute.
Tempering Bottomer - Permits the use of real chocolate rather than compound coatings for initial bottom coverage.
Extra Capacity (600 lb./day) Tempering Melter - Assures ample coating for peak production needs. (standard on 16" system)
Extended Coating Belt - Allows installation of automatic stringers, which eliminate the need for expensive hand decorating.
