Hilliard's topping machine. This machine applies an even coating of a variety of toppings over your products. Simply set the machine over the infeed (stringing) area of your cooling tunnel, after the product has been covered in chocolate. The topping machine will sprinkle the toppings over the coated center as they pass beneath it on the cooling tunnel belt.
A few of the toppings that can be applied are chocolate chips, chopped or crushed nuts, non-pareil seeds, colored or flavored chips, coconut and colored sugar sprinkles.
The hopper holds the toppings, which feeds onto a moving wire mesh belt. The wire mesh belt is suspended above the cooling tunnel belt and the coated product to drop the toppings on the candy center.
Easy to use, easy to adjust, easy to maintain
Adjustments include the size of the opening at the bottom of the hopper, the thickness of the bed of toppings on the wire belt and the speed which the wire belt travels to sprinkle the toppings. Excess toppings are recovered at the exit end of the cooling tunnel to be recycled back into the hopper.
